August 17, 2013  copyright JimMendenhallPhotos.com 2013 jim mendenhall Purchased 1955 Buick Special Riviera hardtop in 1994 in Orange County, (Southern) California from the man who restored it. Then shipped it to PA where it has been garage kept for 20 years at my home. Never has been in a wreck or needed Bondo. The only thing it needed was a radiator which I did not replace. But I started and let it fun for just a few minutes a couple times a year. Not restored back to original. It was originally all blue but completely repainted white top over blue body with lower white side panels below stainless curves. V8 with two barrel carb and an extra four barrel carb and header as spare parts. Extra brake pads.  .Second set of rear end fender chrome housings that are good but not quite as good as the ones installed. Some pitting on the spares. Also an extra grill chrome with  tri-color circle componet. a few misc spare parts such as shift knob and transmission gear plate for steering column. Radio apparently not working. Originally sold in Minnesota or Wisconson. No fender well rust. There was no rust on it any where when I put it in storage 20 years ago. Now there are at least 2 dozen small paint chips a couple as big as a half dollar plus surface rust on paint and lower from bumper. The rust does scrape off and finshes with steel wool but I do not have the elbow grease to do it although I have tested to see it for certain. there is some rust staining along the top of the front wind shield stainless and along the line between the back of the right fender where it meets the panel on the side below the windshield and below the passenger door and the right front fender. There was some additional staining which buffed out but I missed the lower ones mentioned here. black interior velour which I believe could be described as tufted. There are four buttons on the back windshield landing and the doors and seats have vertical stitching every two inches or so which gives a raised
